Not even 2 full months into 2017 and it has been a remarkable year already!
Brian Warren of the 700 CLUB sat down with me to discuss losing a high school friend to suicide, pursuing the sciences, and genuinely finding God in all of it. Being on TV is something I've always dreamed about, but I never thought it would happen this early in my life. It was a 'pinch me' kind of experience.
I walked into the studio to hear Brian facilitating morning devotions with the entire 700 CLUB team. He was asking cameramen, makeup artists and his fellow co-host for prayer requests so they could minister to one another before the day started. I was amazed! It was both a relief and a reminder that despite the heavy production side of experiences like this, at the end of the day it is all about God receiving His glory.
I couldn't believe how effortless the interview felt. Brian made a strong effort to build rapport with me off set, asking lots of questions about my upbringing and heritage. By the time we stepped on set, talking to him felt natural, and that's reflected in the interview.
After much prayer and consideration, I've decided it's time to complete my time of full-time ministry at Selah Fire. This decision hasn't come easily, and it's been in the works for a while now. About 8 months ago, I felt God tell me to seriously consider moving. I was quite surprised and didn't give it too much thought at the time. In the summer, multiple people prophesied that I would move, and that it would be soon. That's when I knew something was in the making.
In early 2017, I finally felt peace about moving on. The time feels right, and I'm ready to embrace what God has in store for me next, which is still to be determined. The congregation has been overwhelming in their support and excitement for me.
I have stepped out in faith, and I am trusting God to back me up in His timing. I would greatly appreciate you praying for me as I seek God about what lies ahead for me beyond my time in Drayton.
Euro & Uganda Trip
God has opened some incredible doors for me to minister in Europe and Uganda this summer.
The trip will include leading worship, running workshops and preaching in Germany, Belgium and Holland. I will then minister to youth as part of a 40 days revival conference in Kampala, Uganda. I am HUMBLED and absolutely AMAZED that I am getting opportunities like this! Travel is something I am very passionate about. I love discovering what God is doing across the globe.
I will still be in a transitionary season in the summer, so I am asking if you'd consider supporting me financially for this great opportunity. Sowing into the trip will help the people of Europe and Uganda build deeper roots in God, grow in their gifts and experience life-changing worship. It also supports the opportunity for my music to spread in greater measures overseas.
Thanks for your support! Without your encouragement and generosity, none of this would be possible. I'm praying God's absolute best for you and your family as 2017 continues!
